Rubberised Cork Sheets & Components are produced from high grade cork granules which are imported from the Mediterranean region of Spain and Portugal. These cork granules are then intimately bonded with an Elastomer (Neoprene, Nitrile or SBR). This provides a material in which the natural compressibility of cork is combined with the resilience and mechanical strength of rubber. The cellular construction of cork, together with the inherent properties of rubber, makes Rubberised Cork a perfect gasket material.

Rubberised Cork is manufactured as per the Indian Standard IS:4253 (Part II), 1980.
