Electrical Grade Insulating Crepe Paper

Electrical Grade Insulating Crepe Paper

Electrical Grade Insulating Crepe Paper is made from top quality base paper having high electrical and mechanical strength. Creping is used to adjust the paper's stretch and thickness, both of which have a marked effect on softness and absorbency.

Applications

Electrical Grade Insulating Crepe Paper is used in high voltage equipment to insulate irregular surfaces which cannot be insulated properly with ordinary kraft paper. It is commonly used in current transformers, CT/PT metering units, power transformers, etc.

Features

Available in 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, & 5.0 mil thickness.

High breakdown voltage and electrical strength.

High hill count that enables elongation up to 250%.

High mechanical strength that prevents snapping of paper under high tension.
